4 Days Boat Cruise From Demre to Fethiye

After breakfast, we will transfer you to Demre harbour for the first day of your Blue Cruise — the relaxed, adventurous heart of the trip. The boat departs between 1:00 and 2:00 pm, sailing to the Pirate Caves and the Sunken City of Kekova, a Lycian-Roman archaeological site visible just beneath the water. You will stop at Simena, a traditional Turkish fishing village, and climb the steps to its Byzantine-Ottoman castle. Gokkaya Bay offers a chance for some water sports, and the evening is spent at the Smugglers' Inn, with dinner and an overnight stay on board.

After an early breakfast on board, we will set off for Kas, beginning with a swim in a quiet bay just off the little town. We then moor at the harbour for lunch and a wander through this charming fishing village — once the ancient town of Antiphellos — with its pretty streets and the Lycian Way nearby, where you can see rock tombs, sarcophagi and the remains of a Roman theatre. Our next stops are Kalkan harbour and Firnaz Bay, where we have dinner and spend the night on the boat.

At sunrise we head for Butterfly Valley (weather permitting) and have breakfast there. You can swim and walk up through the valley, home to more than 130 species of butterflies and moths, and climb the rocks to reach the waterfall for some unforgettable photos. Sailing on past the Blue Lagoon, we reach Oludeniz, one of the most beautiful spots on the coast, for lunch and a swim — and the chance to try the paragliding for which Oludeniz is famous. The day's final stop is St Nicholas Island, with its Byzantine ruins and sunset views, a swim among the underwater remains, dinner and a night on board.

After breakfast and a morning swim off St Nicholas Island, we sail to Samanlik Bay for another swim and lunch. From there we make for Fethiye harbour, arriving between 1:00 and 2:00 pm depending on conditions. As you disembark, do check you have all your belongings before saying goodbye to your new friends and the crew. This brings your four-day cruise to a close — we hope it has been a memorable one.
