2 Days Cappadocia Tour

Early in the morning your driver will collect you from the hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. On arrival, our representative will meet you at the exit and bring you to our office, where the guided tour of northern Cappadocia begins. You will visit Uchisar, with its great hilltop rock hollowed out into cave rooms, and Urgup, known for the fairy chimneys that have become the emblem of Cappadocia. The day also takes in Devrent Valley and Avanos — the centre of Turkey's red-clay pottery since the time of the Hittites — and the Goreme Open-Air Museum, where rock-cut churches preserve some of the finest frescoes in the country. Afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day free to wander the lovely town of Goreme.

If you are up for it, an optional sunrise hot-air balloon flight is the most unforgettable way to begin the day. After breakfast and check-out, your guide will collect you for a tour of southern Cappadocia. You will visit Pigeon Valley and Uchisar Castle, then descend into the Kaymakli Underground City — a five-level warren reaching some 40 metres below ground. At Red Valley, named for its rose-coloured rock, you will set out on a two-hour walk past cave dwellings and Byzantine rock-cut churches. Afterwards you will return to your hotel to collect your luggage and transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul, where our representative will meet you at the exit and take you to your hotel.
