4 Days Turkey Tour
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Early in the morning you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport for the one-hour flight to Cappadocia, the first day of your tour. On arrival, our representative will meet you and take you to our Cappadocia office for a full day exploring northern Cappadocia. You will see Uchisar Castle from below, the Goreme Open-Air Museum, Devrent Valley with its animal-shaped, fairy-tale rock formations, and the historic towns of Urgup and Avanos, famous for their red-clay pottery. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel.
A sunrise hot-air balloon flight over Cappadocia comes highly recommended if you would like to add it. After breakfast, set off on a full-day tour of southern Cappadocia, visiting Pigeon Valley and the Kaymakli Underground City — a five-level complex reaching about 40 metres below ground. You will then head to Red Valley, named for its rose-coloured rock, for a two-hour walk past cave dwellings and Byzantine rock-cut churches. At the end of the tour you will be brought to our office for some free time before your coach. In the late evening you will be taken to the local bus terminal for the ten-hour overnight journey to Pamukkale — the only long coach trip of your tour.
Arriving in Pamukkale early in the morning, you will be met by our representative and taken to your hotel, with a few hours to relax before your full-day tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. You will visit the gates, necropolis and theatre of Hierapolis and the famous travertines — the calcified pools and cascades — with the chance to swim among the ancient ruins. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the lovely resort town of Kusadasi and check into your hotel.
After breakfast and check-out, you will set off for a full day at Ephesus. You will visit the Temple of Artemis — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — the 25,000-seat amphitheatre, the Library of Celsus and all the other splendid highlights of the ancient city, ending at the House of the Virgin Mary, her final home. Afterwards you will be transferred to Izmir airport for the one-hour flight to Istanbul, where our representative will meet you and take you to your hotel — the close of your Turkey tour with us.
