3 Days Pamukkale and Cappadocia Tour

Your driver will collect you from the hotel at around 4:00 am for the transfer to the airport and your early flight to Cappadocia. On arrival, our representative will meet you at the exit and bring you to our office in Goreme, where the guided tour of northern Cappadocia begins. You will see the Goreme panorama, the Byzantine-era Uchisar Castle, Pasabag and Devrent valleys, the Goreme Open-Air Museum and the Kizilirmak River, along with the towns of Urgup and Avanos, famous for their red-clay pottery, where you can try your hand at the wheel. At the end of the day you will be transferred to your hotel for a free evening in Goreme.

If you would like, you can begin the morning with an optional hot-air balloon flight over Cappadocia. After breakfast and check-out, your guide will collect you at 10:00 am for a tour of southern Cappadocia, taking in Ortahisar Castle, Love Valley, the village of Cavusin and an underground city, with a walk through Red Valley, named for its rose-coloured rock. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir, where our representative will meet you on arrival and take you to your hotel in the Kusadasi area.

Please note: there are no flights between Cappadocia and Pamukkale. One option is to travel to Pamukkale by overnight coach — spending the night on board in a reclining seat keeps the cost down and gets you there by morning; just let our sales team know if you would prefer this. Alternatively, you can fly from Cappadocia to Izmir and stay overnight in Kusadasi near Ephesus, about three hours by road from Pamukkale. Direct Cappadocia–Izmir flights run only on certain days, so if your dates are flexible by a day or two, our team will help match them.

After breakfast and check-out, you will be collected from the hotel for a full day at Pamukkale and Hierapolis — around two and a half hours' drive through lovely scenery, with stops along the way. You will explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, Cleopatra's antique pool and the dazzling white travertine terraces, with the chance to bathe in the thermal springs or the Cleopatra pool. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul, where your driver will be waiting with your name on a sign to take you to your hotel.
